
Fatal motorcycle crash on I-75 in Shelby County
In Dayton, Ohio, a motorcyclist tragically lost their life on Friday afternoon after colliding with a pickup truck on Interstate 75 in Shelby County. The Ohio State Highway Patrol's Piqua Post reported that the incident occurred around 3:45 p.m. near milemarker 90 on the northbound side of I-75. The motorcyclist, identified as Joshua Braden, 38, from Hodgenville, Kentucky, was riding a Harley Davidson when it struck the rear of a Ford F-150. The impact caused the motorcycle to swerve off the left side of the highway and hit a sign. Braden, who was not wearing a helmet, was taken to the hospital where he was pronounced dead. Fortunately, the occupants of the F-150 were unharmed. OSP mentioned that traffic had slowed due to a vehicle entering the interstate from the right shoulder. The police are currently conducting an investigation into the incident.
