Fatal motorcycle crash in Wood Village under investigation
PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — A motorcyclist died after crashing into the back of a car early Friday morning in Wood Village, prompting an investigation by the Multnomah County Sheriff’s Office. The Bureau of Emergency Communications (BOEC) received a crash report at approximately 2:45 a.m. at the 23300 block of Northeast Glisan Street. Officials said that emergency responders found a motorcyclist whose identity has been left out unresponsive and severely injured at the scene and took the rider to the hospital, where they were pronounced dead. Investigators said that the rider crashed into the back of a vehicle, and the driver, a 26-year-old, was uninjured and cooperated with authorities. Authorities shut down Northeast Glisan Street in both directions until 5:45 a.m. No additional information has been released at this time. This is a developing story.
