Fatal motorcycle crash in Lothian; rider dies in hospital
A tragic accident occurred in Lothian on July 26 when a motorcyclist collided with a car, resulting in the motorcyclist's death the following day. The incident took place around 6:15 p.m., prompting a response from the police and the crash reconstruction team due to the severity of the injuries sustained. According to reports, a 2009 Yamaha Star motorcycle was traveling west on Mount Zion Marlboro Road when a 2012 Honda Accord turned left onto the same road from Main Street, leading to the collision. The motorcyclist, identified as Katrina M. Prieur, 43, was airlifted to a hospital where she later passed away from her injuries. The driver of the car, a 20-year-old man, thankfully escaped unharmed. Investigations into the accident are currently ongoing.
