Fatal Motorcycle Crash in Charlton
A man from Charlton, New York tragically lost his life in a motorcycle accident on Swaggertown Road. Cody Groat, aged 32, suffered fatal injuries in the crash. Reports state that around 5:58 p.m. on Saturday, authorities were called to the scene of a motorcycle crash where Groat, riding a 2000 Suzuki motorcycle, failed to navigate a turn and veered off the road. He succumbed to his injuries, including blunt force trauma, at the accident site, as confirmed by the Saratoga County Coroner. The Saratoga County Sheriff's Office determined that the crash was a result of excessive speed.
