Fatal motorcycle crash in Bates City, Missouri
A man from Bates City, Missouri, aged 57, has passed away following a crash on June 2. The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported that the accident occurred at the crossing of U.S. 24 Highway and Waterloo Road in Lafayette County. The driver of a Ford F250 pickup truck crossed into the path of a motorcyclist on a 2018 Harley-Davidson, leading to the tragic incident. The motorcyclist was taken to Centerpoint Medical Center in Independence, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
