Fatal Motorcycle Crash in Arlington: 20-Year-Old Victim

A fatal crash occurred in Arlington on Wednesday afternoon involving a 20-year-old motorcyclist. The incident occurred at approximately 2 p.m. near the crossing of S. Cooper Street and Wimbledon Drive. According to Arlington police, a collision transpired between a motorcycle traveling north on Cooper Street and a Honda Accord making a left turn onto Wimbledon Drive from southbound Cooper Street. The motorcyclist, aged 20, was ejected from the bike and pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the car was unharmed and cooperated with authorities but will not face charges. Law enforcement is still investigating the accident, ruling out speed as a contributing factor. The victim's identity remains undisclosed at this time.
