Fatal motorcycle crash claims life of man injured earlier in the week, according to Waco police.
According to the Waco Police Department, the single individual involved in Monday's motorcycle accident has passed away. Waco police confirmed in a statement that 25-year-old Billy Joe Welch succumbed to his injuries on Wednesday following a motorcycle crash earlier in the week. Police responded to the incident near W. Lakeshore Dr. and Wood Lake Dr. on Monday evening and found Welch at the scene. He was rushed to a nearby hospital in critical condition but unfortunately did not survive.
