Fatal motorcycle crash being investigated by police in northeast Austin
The Austin Police Department is currently investigating a tragic motorcycle accident that took place in northeast Austin early Thursday morning. The incident, which was reported around 2:10 a.m., happened near the intersection of East Braker Lane and Pioneer Farms Drive. Sadly, the motorcyclist collided with a pole, resulting in a fatal outcome despite efforts by a witness to administer aid. The identity of the individual has not been disclosed yet. Following the event, the medical examiner arrived at the location at 4 a.m., and by 5:16 a.m., the Austin Police Department confirmed that the road was reopened to traffic.
