Fatal motorcycle crash after police chase in Cumberland County
A police chase came to a tragic end with a fatal collision on Interstate 81 in Cumberland County. The pursuit began after West Shore Regional Police tried to stop a motorcyclist in Wormleysburg for various traffic violations. The motorcyclist crashed into a parked tractor trailer near the George N. Wade Memorial Bridge, causing fatal injuries. The incident is under investigation by Pennsylvania State Police, with details regarding the motorcyclist withheld until family notification.
