Fatal motorcycle accident on Redwood Road in South Jordan
In South Jordan, Utah, a tragic incident occurred Saturday evening, resulting in the death of a 31-year-old man after a car turned into the path of two motorcycles traveling north on Redwood Road. The collision occurred around 10:16 p.m. near 10400 South. According to Sgt. Eric Anderson of the South Jordan Police Department, one of the motorcycles was struck when a southbound car made a left turn into the Smith's grocery store parking lot. The driver of the car stopped immediately, stayed at the scene, and assisted the investigators. Although police do not suspect intoxication, they are investigating other possible contributing factors. The identity of the deceased motorcyclist has not been disclosed pending notification of family members, and the investigation of the crash is ongoing.
