Fatal motorcycle accident on New York State Thruway near New Paltz
The New York State Police are currently looking into a tragic incident involving a motorcycle on the New York State Thruway in New Paltz. The driver, 62-year-old Martin Muller from Mahopac, unfortunately lost his life in the crash. Reports indicate that the accident occurred around 7:43 a.m. near exit 18 when Muller's motorcycle had a tire blowout, causing him to be thrown from the bike. Emergency responders attempted life-saving efforts on Muller, who was then taken to Mid-Hudson Regional Hospital, where he later passed away. The authorities are continuing their investigation into the details of the accident.
