Fatal motorcycle accident on Loop 202 in Phoenix
A fatal motorcycle crash occurred on the South Mountain Loop 202 eastbound off-ramp at Desert Foothills Parkway in the Valley, as reported by the Arizona Department of Public Safety. The incident took place on August 7, with two motorcyclists traveling at a high speed failing to navigate the curve of the off-ramp, resulting in both riders losing control of their motorcycles and being thrown off. Sadly, one motorcyclist died at the scene while the other sustained serious injuries and was taken to a nearby hospital. Although the off-ramp was temporarily closed after the crash, it has since been reopened. The authorities have not disclosed the identities of those involved in the accident.
