Fatal motorcycle accident on Jackrabbit Road
A tragic incident on Thursday, October 23, resulted in the death of a 27-year-old man from Belgrade. The collision occurred on the intersection of Jackrabbit Lane and Baxter Lane, involving a cargo truck making a U-turn. The Montana Highway Patrol report stated that the truck driver was traveling southbound on Jackrabbit in the right-hand lane, while witnesses observed a motorcycle also heading southbound at a high speed. Unfortunately, the motorcycle collided with the left side of the truck as it made the U-turn. Speed is believed to have played a role in the accident, with no suspicion of alcohol or drug involvement according to MHP.
