Fatal motorcycle accident on I-80 in Oakland
The California Highway Patrol is currently investigating a fatal four-vehicle collision that occurred on Sunday afternoon on I-80 in Oakland. The crash involved a Honda VT motorcycle, Toyota Prius, Tesla Model S, and Subaru Crosstrek. Unfortunately, the motorcycle rider involved in the collision did not survive. The incident led to the closure of lanes 1, 2, and 3, with all drivers staying at the scene to assist with the investigation. At this time, alcohol or drugs are not believed to be a factor, and the cause of the crash is still under investigation.
