Fatal motorcycle accident on Highway 212 near Roberts
A fatal accident occurred on Sunday near Roberts when a woman riding a Harley-Davidson motorcycle was hit head-on by a Toyota 4Runner after the vehicle collided with a deer on Highway 212. The Montana Highway Patrol reported that the 51-year-old woman was pronounced dead at the scene. The Toyota's airbags deployed after hitting the deer, causing the vehicle to veer into oncoming traffic where the tragic collision took place. The driver of the Toyota, a 68-year-old woman from Billings, did not sustain serious injuries and was taken to Billings Clinic for medical evaluation. The identities of those involved have not been disclosed by the authorities.
