Fatal Motorcycle Accident on Danville Bypass
According to the Danville police, a tragic incident occurred on Wednesday resulting in the loss of a motorcyclist's life at the intersection of Danville Bypass and Belinda Boulevard. The police identified the motorcyclist as 21-year-old Cody Garrett from Danville. Garrett was traveling west on the Bypass on his Honda motorcycle when a Chevrolet Trailblazer, making a left turn onto Belinda, crossed into his path. The collision caused the motorcycle to hit two other vehicles stationary on Belinda. Garrett was taken to Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center, where he succumbed to his injuries. Thankfully, there were no other reported injuries in this incident.
