Tragic news from Greene County, Missouri, as a man hailing from Springfield sadly passed away on Saturday following a motorcycle crash. The fatal incident took place in eastern Greene County when the 42-year-old rider lost control of his 2021 Aprilia Tuono motorcycle on Route YY, just east of Springfield. The motorcycle veered off the road while speeding, striking an embankment and throwing the driver from the vehicle. The individual was declared deceased at the crash site, with family members informed of the heartbreaking loss. This marks the 29th fatality in MSHP Troop D for the year 2025.
