
Fatal motorcycle accident in South Jordan
A tragic incident occurred on Saturday night outside a South Jordan grocery store where a motorcycle rider lost his life following a collision. According to Sgt. Eric Anderson of South Jordan Police, the incident took place when two motorcycle riders were on Redwood Road heading north while a driver was traveling south. The driver attempted to turn left into a grocery store parking lot near 10300 South, inadvertently cutting off one of the motorcycle riders, leading to a collision between the car and motorcycle. The 31-year-old rider was pronounced dead at the scene, while the driver stayed and is assisting authorities with the investigation. Although the cause of the crash is still being looked into, South Jordan Police have stated that there is currently no suspicion of driver intoxication.
