Fatal motorcycle accident in Ridley Township, PA, claims two lives according to police
Authorities reported that a motorcycle accident in Delaware County, Pennsylvania resulted in the loss of two individuals early Sunday morning. Ridley Township police disclosed that two motorcycles were traveling east on MacDade Boulevard around 4 a.m. when they collided, leading to the tragic incident on the 1900 block of East MacDade Boulevard in Folsom. William Getty, who operated one of the motorcycles, and his passenger, Katrina Pennell, perished in the accident. Notably, they were not wearing helmets and excessive speed contributed to the collision, as per the police report. The second motorcycle's driver sustained a minor leg injury. Both drivers were en route to the same location at the time of the accident. The investigation into the incident remains ongoing. A small memorial was placed near the crash site by community members the following day.
