Fatal motorcycle accident in Modesto
A tragic incident occurred in Modesto on Friday night when a man lost his life in a collision between a motorcycle and a pickup truck at Claus and Milnes Road. The motorcycle rider, a resident of Riverbank, sustained serious injuries and unfortunately succumbed to them at a local hospital. The Modesto Police Department reported that the collision took place around 11 p.m. According to preliminary findings, the motorcyclist was heading north on Claus Road when a pickup truck traveling south made a left turn onto Milnes Road and crashed with the motorcycle. The driver of the truck stayed at the scene and is cooperating with authorities in the investigation. The road was closed for several hours while the MPD Traffic Safety Unit examined the scene.
