Fatal Motorcycle Accident in Glens Falls
The New York State Police are currently investigating a tragic motorcycle accident that resulted in the loss of two lives in Glens Falls, N.Y. The incident occurred early Saturday morning at the junction of Bacon and Glen Streets. State troopers shared that the motorcycle involved was driven by Alex Morehouse, 38, from Warrensburg, as they tried to pull him over for speeding on State Route 9 near Hidden Farm Road in Queensbury. Despite attempts to stop him, Morehouse did not comply and continued driving. Concerned for public safety due to the high speed, troopers stopped pursuit at the intersection of State Route 9 and Lafayette Street, after disengaging their emergency lights. Sadly, not long after, Glens Falls Police Department officers witnessed the motorcycle crashing after hitting a curb. Morehouse was declared deceased at the scene, while his passenger Suzie Etu, 38, from South Glens Falls, was taken to Glens Falls Hospital, where she also later passed away. The crash has been reported to the New York State Attorney General's Office, and the State Police are actively investigating the incident.
