Fatal motorcycle accident claims life of Tiverton woman
A tragic motorcycle accident in Little Compton on Saturday afternoon resulted in the death of a Tiverton woman. Little Compton Police Chief Scott Raynes reported that the incident occurred around 1:30 p.m. when a motorcycle collided head-on with a passenger vehicle on Simmons Rd. The motorcyclist, Tammy Boutilier, 29, sustained serious injuries and was treated at the scene before being transported to St. Anne's Hospital in Fall River, where she sadly passed away. The driver of the other vehicle, unidentified, suffered minor injuries but declined medical attention. The road was closed for about three hours while authorities investigated the crash.
