Fatal Minibike Collision in Orange County: FHP
A tragic incident occurred on Sunday evening in Orange County, resulting in the death of a man and serious injuries for a teenager after a minibike crash. According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the collision took place around 6:30 p.m. at Orange and Nela avenues when a 21-year-old man and a 16-year-old boy, both from Orlando, were riding minibikes northbound on Orange Avenue. The riders failed to stop for a stationary SUV in traffic, resulting in a collision with the vehicle. The man sadly passed away while the teenager sustained serious injuries but was reported to be in stable condition Sunday night. The investigation into the crash is ongoing to determine the specific factors that led to the failure to stop.
