
Fatal Milwaukee crash: Marquette students die, driver detained.
Two Marquette University students tragically lost their lives in a car crash in Milwaukee on Friday, with others sustaining injuries. The incident took place at 27th and St. Paul around 5 p.m., involving a collision between a vehicle carrying six people and a 41-year-old driver. While the two students, ages 19 and 20, succumbed to their injuries at the scene, the remaining occupants were treated for non-life-threatening injuries. The driver has been apprehended by the police. Marquette University President Kimo Ah Yun confirmed that those who perished and some injured individuals were university students. A Mass is set to be held at the Varsity Theatre at 1 p.m. on Saturday, with support services available for affected individuals. The Milwaukee County District Attorney's Office is currently evaluating potential charges.
