Fatal Mesquite Crash Victim on E-Bike Identified
Nevada State Police have identified a man who tragically lost his life in an e-bike accident in Mesquite, Nevada. The incident occurred at the intersection of Oasis Boulevard and Ivy Lee Crest on Saturday, October 4th. James Lindsey Jackson, a 67-year-old resident of Evanston, Wyoming, was the rider involved in the crash. Following the collision, Jackson was initially taken to a nearby hospital in critical condition but sadly passed away a few days later. According to authorities, the investigation revealed that the e-bike and a sedan were traveling in separate lanes on Oasis Boulevard when the e-bike rider moved into the sedan's lane, resulting in the collision. This fatality marks the 49th in 48 fatal crashes investigated by the Nevada State Police southern command region. Mesquite is situated approximately 82 miles northeast of Las Vegas.
