Fatal Labor Day crash in Tarrant County
The Tarrant County Sheriff's Office reported a tragic four-vehicle crash that resulted in three fatalities and two individuals in critical condition on Monday night. The incident occurred at 8:20 p.m. in the 8700 block of Highway 1187 near Crowley. Along with the deceased victims, Marisol Villalobos, a 52-year-old woman who was returning home from visiting her daughter at Tarleton State University, was identified by the Tarrant County Medical Examiner. Emergency responders, including a helicopter, rushed to the scene, where signs of the crash were evident. The crash caused significant damage to multiple vehicles and left onlookers shocked. The community is emphasizing the importance of road safety due to increased traffic in the area. Investigations are ongoing to determine the cause of the crash, and the authorities are yet to release the identities of the two other victims.
