Fatal jet ski accident on Housatonic River in Stratford.
A man tragically passed away on Wednesday evening following a jet ski crash on the Housatonic River near the Sikorsky facility in Stratford, Connecticut. Department of Energy & Environmental Protection officials responded to the scene around 10 p.m. where they found the adult male operator near an overturned jet ski on the river's west bank. The man was pronounced deceased at the scene. The DEEP's EnCon Police Boating Accident Reconstruction Unit and Investigative Unit are conducting an investigation, with assistance from Shelton Fire Department, Stratford Fire Department, Sikorsky Fire Department, and Milford police.
