Fatal Idaho car crash injures young Utahn
Two individuals from Utah tragically lost their lives in a rollover accident on Wednesday night, and another person was critically injured in the same vehicle. The incident took place in Malad City, Idaho, around 9:15 p.m. The driver of a Ford Focus veered off the road, causing the vehicle to roll and hit unoccupied cars on the other side of the road. Despite being transported to a local hospital, the 47-year-old man from Fielding and the 45-year-old woman from Tremonton could not survive their injuries, the Idaho State Police reported. The juvenile passenger, who was wearing a seat belt, also sustained critical injuries and was airlifted to a local hospital. The identities of the individuals have not been released, and road closures were in effect for three hours following the crash.
