Fatal I-94 crash in Chicago leads to lane closures, ISP reports
UPDATE: Illinois State Police reported all lanes were reopened shortly before 7:30 a.m. A collision on Interstate 94 tragically resulted in the loss of three lives early Sunday morning. The incident occurred on I-94 southbound at the I-57 junction on Chicago's South Side. ISP officers were called to the scene just before 2 a.m. in response to a report of a triple fatal accident. As a result of the crash, all lanes on I-94 southbound were shut down, leading to traffic diversions at 95th Street. An investigation is underway by the troopers, but no additional information has been provided at this time.
