Fatal I-35 collision in Franklin County.
Kansas Highway Patrol reported a fatal crash involving two semi trucks in Franklin County, Kansas on Thursday morning. The incident occurred on Interstate 35 near Ottawa when one semi driver veered across lanes, resulting in a collision with another semi. One driver, identified as 29-year-old Zachary Williams from Liberty, Tennessee, was pronounced dead at the scene. The second driver sustained serious injuries and was taken to The University of Kansas Health System.
