Fatal hunting accident claims life of 67-year-old in Lincoln County
A tragic incident occurred in Lincoln County when 67-year-old Danny Wilson lost his life in a hunting accident. Wilson was at a family member's farm assisting a father and son during a youth hunt. Unfortunately, a teenager mistook him for a deer and shot him in the leg. Despite being rushed to Ephraim McDowell Fort Logan Hospital, Wilson passed away. He was not wearing orange hunting attire at that time as he was not actively engaged in hunting.
