Fatal hit-and-run on Belt Parkway: 2 dead

Two individuals tragically lost their lives in a hit-and-run accident involving a Mercedes and a motorcyclist on the Belt Parkway in Brooklyn on Sunday night. The incident occurred when the Mercedes driver, exiting at the Ocean Parkway ramp on the westbound side of the highway, collided with a 29-year-old motorcyclist. The Mercedes veered off into a grassy area, struck a tree, then hit three parked cars before overturning. The motorcyclist hit a fence and two other parked cars post-collision. Despite efforts to save him, the motorcyclist, identified as Besim Muminovic, succumbed to his injuries. The driver of the Mercedes fled the scene, while the 22-year-old passenger from the car passed away at the hospital. As of now, no arrests have been made in connection with this incident.
