Fatal hit-and-run crash on Lake Shore Drive in Lakeview
Chicago police are currently on the lookout for the driver responsible for the death of a man who was struck by a car near a North Side park along Lake Shore Drive early Saturday morning. The incident occurred around 3:30 a.m. in the 3600 block of North Jean Baptiste Pointe du Sable Lake Shore Drive in Lakeview. The victim, a 26-year-old man, was hit by a northbound vehicle that fled the scene after the collision. The man was found unconscious near the road and later pronounced dead at the location.
