Fatal hit-and-run crash leaves 3 dead, 1 critically injured
Three individuals have died, and another has been gravely injured following a hit-and-run collision in Volusia County. The incident took place in DeBary just before 10 p.m. on Saturday night, involving a Dodge Durango, Ford Focus, motorcycle, and Honda Pilot. According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the driver of the Durango caused a sequence of events by striking the Focus after changing lanes, before fleeing the scene. Tragically, the individuals on the motorcycle and in the Pilot lost their lives. The Durango was found abandoned in a parking lot and has been seized for investigation by FHP.
