Fatal hit-and-run crash in South Los Angeles leads to one death
A hit-and-run incident resulted in a fatality in the Vermont Vista area of South Los Angeles on Sunday evening. Firefighters responded to the scene on W. 91st Street, where four vehicles were involved in a collision. Crews had to extract a trapped individual from one of the vehicles using hydraulic tools; unfortunately, the person was pronounced deceased on-site. The Los Angeles Fire Department reported the incident, prompting Los Angeles police to investigate further. Two female individuals connected to the crash left the scene on foot, with authorities discovering signs of an altercation post-collision. Aerial footage from SkyCal revealed the extent of vehicle damage, while a group of spectators watched as firefighters rescued one of the trapped victims.
