Fatal hit-and-run crash claims life of Wesley Chapel man, body found 12 hours later: FHP
The Florida Highway Patrol has reported that a 39-year-old man was fatally struck by an SUV in Wesley Chapel on Sunday night. The incident occurred around 7 p.m. when the SUV, believed to be a Toyota 4Runner, hit the man while he was walking along Boyette Road. Sadly, the pedestrian lost his life in the collision, and the SUV driver fled the scene afterwards. The victim's body was discovered by a passerby early Monday morning.
