Fatal hit-and-run accident claims life of 'The Walking Dead' crew member on Mount Paran Road
A tragic hit-and-run incident on Mount Paran Road in northwest Atlanta has resulted in the passing of a beloved crew member from "The Walking Dead," identified as 62-year-old Amy Blanc Lacy. The alleged driver of the speeding car, 31-year-old Buck Rollins, has been released on bond from jail. It is reported that Rollins was driving at 90 mph when the collision occurred on September 1. Witnesses, like Stacey Elgin, tried to stop the fleeing driver, expressing gratitude for the efforts made to assist. Rollins later surrendered at Fulton County Jail and faces charges including vehicular homicide, hit-and-run, reckless driving, and speeding. Lacy, who spent four days in a coma before passing away, was a script supervisor on the show and deeply appreciated by her colleagues. Her family has shared that Lacy was an organ donor and has held an eco-friendly burial service. To support Lacy's family during this tough period, former co-workers have initiated an online fundraiser. More information can be found at the following link: [link to the fundraiser page].
