Fatal high-speed collision in Grand Prairie
The Grand Prairie Police Department is currently looking into a deadly crash that happened yesterday, October 16th, on E. Main Street near the 3900 block. The incident involved a Corvette speeding west on Main Street that collided with a Dodge Ram around 6:00 P.M. The Dodge Ram was towing two vehicles and attempting a left turn when it was struck by the Corvette. The driver of the Dodge Ram suffered minor injuries and was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment. Sadly, the driver of the Corvette, who was the only person in the car, lost their life on the scene as confirmed by Grand Prairie Fire Department medics. The identity of the deceased individual will be revealed by the Dallas Medical Examiner's Office once family members have been informed. Investigations into this collision are ongoing.
