Fatal head-on crash leaves two dead, two injured
In Clark County, Illinois, a tragic head-on collision occurred on Friday night resulting in the loss of two lives and injuries to two others. The Illinois State Police reported that a car traveling eastbound on West Lincoln Street in Westfield veered into the westbound lane, leading to the collision. Two individuals were declared deceased at the scene, while two more were taken to the hospital for treatment. The authorities had the road closed for investigation until nearly 1 a.m. on Saturday, but it has since been reopened for travel.
