Fatal head-on crash in Fullerton
According to a press release from the Fullerton Police Department, a fatal head-on collision occurred late on Saturday night in Fullerton. The incident involved a 2004 Toyota Corolla and a 2009 Lexus RX350, with both vehicles sustaining serious front-end damage and coming to a stop in the middle of the road. Emergency responders transported both drivers to a local trauma center, where the Toyota driver unfortunately passed away. The identity of the deceased driver has not yet been revealed by the Orange County Coroner’s Office. The condition of the Lexus driver remains undisclosed. Initial findings suggest that the Toyota was traveling west on West Commonwealth Avenue and drifted into the eastbound lanes, resulting in the tragic collision. Fullerton police are currently carrying out an investigation to determine if alcohol or drugs played a role in the accident.
