Fatal head-on crash in Colleton County leaves 4 dead.
Tragedy struck in Colleton County, S.C., when a head-on collision claimed the lives of four individuals on Monday evening. According to state troopers, a collision between a 2020 Volkswagen SUV and a 2004 Dodge minivan occurred on SC 303 near Simons Acres Lane, about four miles south of Walterboro. The crash resulted in the deaths of both SUV passengers and the minivan driver at the scene, while the SUV driver succumbed to injuries at Colleton Medical Center. Investigations are being carried out by the South Carolina Highway Patrol, with the Colleton County Coroner’s Office yet to release the identities of those involved.
