Fatal head-on crash in Chilton County
The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency reported a fatal two-vehicle collision near Jemison on Saturday afternoon. Bradley Goggins, 34, of Calera, was tragically killed in the incident, while Zackary Moore, 38, of Thorsby, sustained injuries. The crash occurred at around 2 p.m. on U.S. Highway 31 in Chilton County. Both drivers were not wearing seat belts at the time. Goggins was pronounced dead at the scene, and Moore was taken to a hospital in Birmingham for treatment. The cause of the crash is currently under investigation by ALEA’s Highway Patrol Division.
