Fatal head-on collision shuts down Wadsworth in Lakewood Friday evening

Emergency responders administered CPR on the scene and transported one person to a hospital. The initial investigation indicated that the driver responsible for the crash had died, prompting traffic detectives to investigate further. As of 9:45 p.m., all northbound lanes of South Wadsworth Boulevard at West Mansfield Parkway were shut down, with an expected extended closure. Drivers were advised to consider alternative routes such as Kipling or Sheridan.
