Fatal head-on collision on Highway 132 near Modesto results in two driver fatalities
Modesto – Early Thursday morning, a tragic head-on collision on Highway 132 west of Modesto resulted in the death of both drivers involved, according to the California Highway Patrol. The accident occurred around 3 a.m. when a white sedan traveling west crossed into the eastbound lanes, colliding with a black sedan. Authorities found the two vehicles with significant damage – the white sedan on the north shoulder and the black sedan on the south shoulder. The drivers, who have not yet been identified, lost their lives at the scene. Highway patrol officers are investigating the circumstances of the crash, including the possibility of DUI as a contributing factor.
