Fatal head-on collision near Rockvale
A tragic accident occurred on Sunday evening on Highway 310, two miles north of Rockvale, which resulted in the death of a 20-year-old man from Park City and injuries to a 29-year-old woman from Roberts. The Montana Highway Patrol reported that the collision, which occurred at 10:30 p.m., involved a GMC Sierra pickup truck traveling north and a Jeep Cherokee traveling south in the northbound lane. The Jeep Cherokee rolled over, and the GMC Sierra came to a stop on the shoulder of the road. The injured Roberts woman, who was not wearing a seat belt, was taken to a hospital in Billings for treatment, while the Park City man, who was wearing a seat belt, tragically lost his life at the scene.
