Fatal head-on collision near Rancho Cordova
A fatal head-on collision occurred just east of Rancho Cordova, announced the California Highway Patrol East Sacramento on Tuesday. A Hyundai Elantra and a Subaru Impreza were involved in the crash at the intersection of White Rock Road and Grant Line Road around 4:30 p.m. Sadly, the 21-year-old Hyundai driver did not survive, while the Hyundai passenger and Subaru driver sustained serious injuries and were transported to a nearby hospital for treatment. The cause of the accident is still being investigated, including the possibility of drugs or alcohol contributing to the incident. The CHP is urging anyone with information on the collision to reach out to their East Sacramento office.
