Fatal head-on collision near Foley claims life of St. Cloud man
A fatal collision occurred on Highway 23 near Mile Marker 220 in Gilmanton Township near Foley in Benton County involving two pickup trucks. The crash between a Chevy Silverado and a Dodge RAM 1500 resulted in the death of Edward Leroy Hindermann, the driver of the Silverado. Two others, including a 17-year-old girl and an 18-year-old woman, were hospitalized for injuries sustained during the incident. The Minnesota State Patrol reported that alcohol is not suspected to be a factor in the crash.
