Fatal head-on collision in Westbrook claims life of Chester man
A fatal collision occurred in Westbrook, Connecticut, where a Chester resident lost his life following a head-on crash between a Jeep Wagoneer and a Nissan Altima on Essex Road. The incident involved the vehicles colliding while traveling in opposite directions. The driver of the Nissan, identified as 63-year-old Robert Lewis Jones, was taken to Middlesex Health Shoreline Medical Center where he was sadly pronounced dead. The driver of the Jeep sustained minor injuries and was transported to Yale for treatment. Authorities are currently investigating the crash.
