Fatal head-on collision in the Upstate region
A fatal collision occurred in Pickens County, South Carolina, on Friday morning, resulting in the death of a woman. The incident took place around 7 a.m. when a car veered across the center line of Highway 178 (Pickens Drive) in Liberty and collided head-on with a work truck. The woman driving the car was pronounced dead at the scene, and an autopsy is planned for Monday. Authorities have not disclosed the victim's identity.
