Fatal head-on collision in Santa Rosa due to driver's failure to notice stopped vehicle turning
A tragic incident occurred in Santa Rosa on Saturday when a woman lost her life in a car collision. The accident involved a white Lexus SUV striking a red Honda after swerving to avoid hitting a red Toyota attempting a left-hand turn. The incident, detailed in a Santa Rosa Police Department news release, was based on witness accounts, driver statements, and video footage from a nearby auto dealership. Sadly, the driver of the Honda was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the Lexus, who was cooperating with investigators, shared that parked cars prevented him from avoiding the Toyota and noticing the approaching Honda.
